Responsibilities
Perform presentations of the products at clinical customer and, selectively, laboratory customer sites and arrange product demonstrations in collaboration with the technical support team.
Develop privileged relationships with institutional officers and opinion leaders to promote the company’s product range.
Propose a plan for sales growth in the most appropriate markets.
Open new opportunities through customer acquisitions and development of key adoption
Establish sales & marketing plans for the assigned region
Prospecting of doctors and laboratories in hospitals and public health centers
Presentations of the product at meetings of medical specialists in the target groups (pneumologists, infectiologists, occupational health doctors, rheumatologists….).
Participation at regional exhibits.
Preparation and updates of sales forecasts.
Participation in the establishment of budgets
To actively participate in the implementation of country-specific marketing projects to accelerate acceptance of products
Requirements
BSc qualification in biological science; optional : experience in a clinical/pathology environment, and sales & marketing qualifications/experience. Alternatively, a degree in business with heavy IVD or Medical Device experience.
Working knowledge of immunology and microbiology
Willingness to travel up to 60% (Field Job)
Highly motivated by the commercial part and not only by delivering the scientific messages to clinicians/biologists
Optional: Experience in the management of major customer accounts in an introductory environment
Based in Belgium,
French and Flemish Dutch language skills is mandatory + good level of English
