Our client is a leading international pharmaceutical company that specialises in the development and manufacturing of Mass Market, Rx and specialty care generics. The Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager to join their team in Switzerland. As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key hospital accounts across Switzerland. You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of the hospital market and its key stakeholders, as well as the company’s portfolio.

Location

Based near Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano, Bern, Basel, Zug or Zurich.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key hospital accounts
  • Drive sales growth and market share for the company’s portfolio; Mass Market, Rx and Specialty Care
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Medical Affairs, to develop and implement account-specific strategies and tactics
  • Conduct product presentations and training to hospital staff
  • Monitor and manage product inventory levels and ensure timely delivery to hospitals

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on hospital accounts
  • Strong understanding of the hospital market and its key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and market share in a competitive environment
  • Fluency in German and English is required (French or Italian preferred)
