We have recently partnered with an exciting medical device company who design superior products that lead to healthier lives. The company currently has over 4,300 employees internationally and have grown quickly which is testament to the quality of their products. They are now looking for a Sales Manager / Director to lead the sales team in the Nordics.
The Sales Manager/Director, Nordics shall be responsible for leading, mentoring and fostering sales team members for Orthopaedics business in the Nordic region, for the achievement of annual sales objectives, customer satisfaction and long-term account goals in line with the Company’s vision and values.
Ø Give direction and manage Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Sales Representatives in achieving the sales targets in the Nordic region
Ø Establish specific measurable goals to provide a clear base for employee recognition and development.
Ø Devise a creative and effective business plan, in conjunction with the General Manager, to ensure growth in the region.
Ø Set work objectives for each of the team members and be able to measure their progressØ Develop and ensure delivery of sales forecasts for existing and new products
Ø Own and manage the business review process
Ø Work with marketing team for Orthopaedics in developing strategies for increasing opportunities in the region
Ø Plan regular one-to-one, catch-up meetings with the team members to help with current issues and to ensure proper mentoring, coaching and training needs are met.
Ø Continued regional market appraisal and subsequent feedback to the General Manager to enhance overall strategy
Ø Coordinate and execute pre-tender work
Ø Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ø Travel the extent of the region regularly to support the team and customers as necessary
Ø Be prepared to travel internationally on occasion
Qualifications & Experience
Ø Degree level or relevant qualification/experience
Ø Evidence of relevant experience and proven track record
Ø 4+ years experience working in Medical Device space is essential. Experience in Orthopaedics is a plus
