The Company

A global, innovative and rapidly developing pharmaceutical company driven by R&D, with multiple first-in-class commercialised products and ground-breaking technologies is looking for a Business Development professional (Associate Director to Director level) with experience in licensing transactions and alliance management to join their team.

This company operates across Oncology. CNS, Autoimmunity, and Infectious Disease, and are expanding their presence in areas with significant unmet clinical needs.

The Role

This role will serve as the critical interface between R&D and maintaining and growing multiple strategic strategic alliances and growth opportunities across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company’s overall business strategy
  • Find growth opportunities and novel areas of innovation
  • Track the market to maintain knowledge of licensing transactions (in-licensing and out-licensing)
  • Support with search and evaluation, licensing transactions, academic partnerships and alliance management
  • Cover the full life cycle of transactions across all therapeutic areas
  • MD / PharmD / PhD Life science degree
  • 3+ years business development experience
  • Scientific of clinical expertise in Oncology, Immuno-oncology or CNS
  • Licensing and alliance management industry experience
