The Role

  • Support of the existing customer portfolio from the chemical, cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical industries
  • Responsibility for the Central Eastern Europe market region
  • Expansion of the existing customer portfolio and additional target industries
  • Create and implement a budget for the area of responsibility
  • Identify and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Review and adaptation of the existing supply chain
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Conducting customer and trade fair visits with sales talks and presentations
  • Regular travel in the market region as well as the necessary regular presence onsite

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in sales as a sales manager, product manager, key account manager or business development manager
  • Knowledge of oleochemistry is a key requirements
  • Fluent in written and spoken English as well as very good knowledge of at least one Eastern European language
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as enthusiasm
  • Analytical, solution-oriented and strategic thinking
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Team spirit, commitment and willingness to travel (national and international)
