Clinical Development Director – Neurology

They are looking for a Clinical Development leader who can see multiple products through the Clinical Phases. As a culture they value personal development, cross-functional work and a high degree of care for the patient.

Location – Ideally based in France or the UK, but can be based anywhere in Europe

Flexibility – Hybrid working available. Average time in office is 2 days a week, however this has been customised to better fit their employees. If based outside of France or UK, you would only be expected to come in for meetings with senior staff members

Summary of Key Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for:

  • Driving the execution of early & late phase clinical development programmes
  • Provide critical input across medical, scientific, strategic and clinical matters
  • You will manage, mentor and expand the team across Clinical Development
  • Drive the clinical development strategy and prepare study concept sheets, early development plans, study protocols, working cross functionally with project team members
  • Provide scientific input into the business plan and project strategy

Required Experience

  • MD educated
  • A board certification in Neurology is highly preferred, but not necessary
  • 5+ years in Clinical Development activities, coming from Specialised care/rare Disease
  • Experience with, PMDA, FDA and EMA
  • Previous experience taking a product form pre-clinical to registration
  • Fluent in English is required, other European languages are a bonus
