Founded by scientists, their mission is to ensure consistent quality and secure supply chains worldwide. As a trusted partner we are working closely with them to identify the ideal candidate for this key role.

With facilities strategically located across three continents, including main production laboratories in Switzerland, the UK, Europe, and East Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global sales process from prospecting to closure, ensuring meetings are conducted and sales targets are exceeded.
  • Negotiate and close business opportunities, leveraging existing connections and continually expanding the network within the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry through active participation in networking events, industry conferences, and professional associations.
  • Develop effective sales tools, presentations, and collateral to enhance the sales process and support prospecting efforts.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients, leveraging security expertise to understand and address their unique needs.
  • Devise and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive growth and enhance market presence, analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify strategic business opportunities.
  • Drive sales of peptide services to achieve sales goals for the assigned territory, while gathering and communicating relevant market information to the senior leadership team
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including ISO and GMP as needed.

Requirements

  • MSc in Chemistry and/or biotechnology background with basic knowledge of small molecule manufacturing services is highly preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in business development within a CMO or pharmaceutical company, demonstrating a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industries sales cycles.
  • Successful track record in selling GMP products/services, with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commercial mindset and results-driven approach to achieving goals.
