We are partnered with a pioneering and leading global biotech based in Wilmington Delaware, that are committed to advancing cutting-edge research in Oncology and Inflammation & Autoimmunity to address critical unmet medical needs.

The Role

This organization are looking to bring on an Executive Director Business Development to spearhead opportunity assessments for licensing and acquisition initiatives in the autoimmune, inflammation, and oncology therapeutic areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead assessments for licensing and acquisitions in key therapeutic areas, evaluating data, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop product strategies, revenue forecasts, and financial analyses to support collaborations.
  • Structure and negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring optimal terms.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify strategic licensing opportunities aligned with company goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to guide business development efforts.

Requirements

  • MD, PhD, PharmD and MBA or equivalent
  • 8+ years of Business Development and Licensing experience in the pharma preferably with experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Oncology / Inflammatory assets
  • Strong analytical background, business development experience, demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
