About – This scientist position will be part of a small and collaborative team developing AAV vectors for cancer immunotherapies.

 

Duties

  • Develop and optimise AAV vectors for the company’s gene therapy products.
  • Characterise the therapies using analytical methods.
  • Compile and analyse data to provide updates in meetings for both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership teams.
  • Work cross functionally with other internal teams to achieve key goals.

Experience

  • PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related field with experience with gene therapies.
  • Industry experience would be highly desirable for this role.
  • Proven track record developing viral vectors of gene therapies, ideally AAVs.
  • Strong technical skills with in vitro culture of cell lines and primary cells, cloning, ELISA, PCR and multiparameter flow cytometry.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Excellent ability to work within a team and collaborate cross functionally.
