About – This position will be responsible for studying immunomodulatory activity on immunoreceptor activation for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Duties

  • Develop, optimise and qualify assays (bioassays and immunoassays) to characterise drug candidates.
  • Ensure the SOPs are drafted and updated to align with appropriate quality standards (GxP).
  • Manage the inventory and order laboratory supplies when necessary and ensure maintenance of equipment.
  • Identify potential new CROs and draft requests for proposal.

Experience

  • MSc or PhD in Biology / Immunology (or another related field).
  • Up to 2 years in industry would be highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in fundamental and applied human platelet biology.
  • Strong skills in mammalian cell culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and immunoblotting.
  • Proven experience with isolation of human primary immune cells and genetic modification techniques (transfection).
  • Proficiency in GraphPad Prism and FlowJo.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French.
