Analytical Development Scientist

Location – Vienna, Austria

About the company

• This is a global biotechnology company in Vienna, Austria developing vaccines for both viral and bacterial diseases.
• They are looking for a scientist to join them, who will be responsible for statistical analyses during development, validation or transfer of release and stability assays according to relevant GMP guidelines.

Duties

• Responsible for implementing statistical analysis of analytical data to ensure acceptance by authorities
• Lead analytical method transfer to internal and external partners
• Participate in development and validation of GMP release and stability assays
• Planning and review of analytical assays
• Writing/reviewing validation/qualification plans and GMP relevant documentation
• Supporting the writing of regulatory submissions

Experience

• PhD or equivalent
• Statistical analysis expertise
• Background experience in QC/GMP environment
• Knowledge in biochemical/biological assay field
• Project management experience is desirable
• Industry experience (biotech or pharma)
• Communication skills
• English skills
