We are partnered with a global consulting firm which services the healthcare industry, they have been well established in the global market particularly in the Regulatory affairs services, they have partnered with innovative companies at the forefront of advanced therapies.

As part of their double digit % growth they are searching for a Business Development Director to sell their RA consulting services and working closely with the president of the business to navigate the complex landscape and advise clients across Pharma and Biotech.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand client base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the regulatory affairs space, including pharmaceuticals & biotech.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, competitor activities, and potential clients
  • Lead proposal development and presentation efforts to secure new contracts and projects
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery
  • Monitor client satisfaction and develop plans for improving customer retention and loyalty
  • Provide insights and guidance to the leadership team on potential growth areas and market expansion

Key Requirements

  • Several years of experience in selling regulatory affairs services in the life sciences space is a must.
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition.
  • Experience within a CRO is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as enthusiasm
  • Consultative selling techniques and disciplined management of a sales pipeline.
  • Proven existing industry relationships to leverage in lead generation and sales activities.
  • Team spirit, commitment and willingness to travel (national and international)
