The Company

We are working with an innovative clinical-stage biotech company that is pioneering the development of novel drugs in the treatment of Cancer. With multiple assets in the late clinical stages of development, and a robust discovery pipeline, this company is looking for a Director Business Development to join the team and execute licensing deals with large pharma players in Oncology.

The Role

In this end-to-end Business Development position, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership team to manage deals from competitive intelligence and early due diligences to term sheet negotiations for both in and out licensing deals.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish, coordinate and close in- and out-licensing deals
  • Manage due diligence, financial modeling and projections, and deal negotiations
  • Collect, analyse and report on competitive landscapes and industry trends
  • Drive overall business strategy
  • Partner with internal scientific, clinical and commercial teams to better understand the company pipeline and strategic interests


Requirements

  • MBA Education / Background in Investment Banking
  • 5-7 years BD experience in the life science industry
  • Strong deal sheet (buy and sell)
  • Extensive network of pharma and biotech professionals
  • Right to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
  • Flexible to travel
