Title: Global Clinical Development Lead

Base Salary: Up to $390k

Location: Cambridge, MA

Required: 1-2 days on site

Responsibilities:

1. Reports to the Head of Clinical Development and work closely with clinical scientists and has oversight of CRO-based MD Medical Monitors.

2. A key leader in important settings including governance, strategic decision-making, internal team-building and external interactions such as partnerships. An effective leader generating maximum value of assets.

3. Key leader for ad boards to generate thought-provoking discussion.

4. Oversees MD medical monitor based at CRO and support development of people in the team.

5. Represents program in governance sessions, often as a presenter and at health authority interactions as a key speaker and is a major contributor to briefing packages.

6. Engages cross-functionally especially to bridge preclinical and clinical thinking.

7. Provides or oversees deliverables to clinical studies (with support of CRO MD MM and/or clinical scientist).

8. Working on global regulatory documents and submissions.

9. Key speaker at Investigators’ meetings.

10.A clinician who ensures safe conduct of clinical trials, working closely with a pharmacovigilance function and a medical monitoring discipline.

11. Interfaces with Investigators to enhance clinical programs, including site initiations, Investigators’ meetings and cohort reviews.

12. Mediates alliance partnerships for maximum positioning and value.

13. Supports business development and guidance in many directions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Board Certified Oncologist / Trained Oncologist
  • Industry experience in a start up or small biotech
  • The ability to be hands on and hit the ground running
  • Ready to be working on Early and Late Phase
  • Excited by working on Global Regulations and Submission
