We are proud to partner with a globally recognized consultancy that delivers cutting-edge digital and automation solutions across the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. As they expand their MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) capability to meet growing client demand, we are seeking a talented MES Syncade Engineer with deep expertise in recipe authoring to join their high-performing international team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and deploy MES Syncade solutions with a strong focus on recipe authoring and design.
  • Translate manufacturing process requirements into Syncade functional specifications and develop corresponding electronic batch records (EBRs).
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers, QA, Manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of MES with broader automation and enterprise systems.
  • Support lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design documentation, system testing (IQ/OQ/PQ), deployment, and hypercare.
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders to lead recipe workshops and ensure MES solutions align with manufacturing best practices and regulatory standards (GMP, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Contribute to project planning, task estimation, and continuous improvement of MES delivery frameworks.
  • Train and mentor end users and client-side recipe authors on Syncade best practices.

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Emerson Syncade MES, with an emphasis on recipe authoring and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in pharma/biotech environments (e.g., drug substance, drug product, cell & gene therapy manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations, data integrity principles, and validation practices.
  • Experience working in a consultancy, systems integrator, or client-facing project delivery environment is a significant plus.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects and adapt to dynamic client needs.
