About – The role aims to lead preclinical development of novel T cell therapy within an innovative and growing biotech.

Role responsibilities

  • Plan, design and execute experiments assessing the in vitro functions of T cells.
  • Optimise cell-based immunoassays and use multi-colour flow cytometry, ELISpot and ELISA.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of scientists to deliver on project goals.
  • Clearly present results to senior leadership teams.
  • Keep up to date with relevant external publications in the field.

Experience

  • PhD in Life Sciences or equivalent degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in cell therapy.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior scientists.
  • Hands on experience with flow cytometry, cell culture, immune cell assays and in vivo skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
