About the company

• This company is developing respiratory formulations for the treatment of indications such as asthma and COPD.
• They are seeking a Procurement Manager to work closely with the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain to build relationships with suppliers and ensure contracts maximise value delivery.

Duties

• Negotiate, create and manage global supplier contracts.
• Leading the development/management/implementation of comprehensive strategies in alignment with key stakeholders and business objectives
• Protect the revenue streams by managing supply security – through robust risk management process, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Developing supply strategies
• Building strategic relationships with key suppliers at a senior level

Experience

• Degree in Business/Procurement or related
• Experience in direct procurement (pharmaceutical/CDMO sectors)
• Proven negotiations and contract management skills
• Legal support/experience in contractual clauses, terms and conditions and commercial implications
• Proven track record of supplier relationship management
• Ability to operate independently
• Market knowledge of supplier capabilities
• English proficiency (written and spoken)
