Regional Sales Manager – EMEA

We are hiring on behalf of a leading global excipient provider that partners with major pharmaceutical companies worldwide. With a strong market presence and a commitment to high-quality products and services, our client is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This is a key leadership role for a results-driven professional who excels in sales growth, team leadership, and strategic market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and expand sales channels.
  • Strengthen customer engagement and distributor relationships to enhance market presence.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Managers and Customer Support Officers.
  • Conduct performance reviews, training, and mentoring to drive team success.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on results and accountability.

Customer & Distributor Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Address customer needs, resolve issues, and optimize distributor performance.

Sales Forecasting & Budgeting

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and track key performance metrics.
  • Manage the regional sales budget efficiently to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration & Market Insights

  • Work cross-functionally to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Support regional marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in sales management, including at least 5 years in a regional or territory leadership role.
  • Experience in international B2B sales within the excipient or pharmaceutical industry is required.
