SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in complex system developments.
• Define and document development methodologies in a systems engineering context.
• Help shape cross-domain development activities (such as risk management, requirements engineering, architectures, usability engineering, functional safety and cyber security, etc.).
• Take responsibility for strategic topics such as architecture, documentation & testing.
• Design and review of functional and technical safety concepts, as well as analysing and assessing cybersecurity threats and the associated solution strategies.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in medical device development, good knowledge in the areas of functional safety and cybersecurity are advantageous.
• Experience dealing with relevant standards such as IEC 62304, IS0 14971, ISO 13485 and ISO 60601 is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the various development disciplines and how they interface (SW/HW, mechanics…) and an understanding of usability and risk management will help you.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and experience with Polarion, Jira and system modelling.
• Strong communication skills in both English and German.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, a strong awareness of quality and a high level of problem-solving skills.
